Example Race: Manikato Stakes at The Valley
-
Stables/Yard: a check to indicate horses are being readied for the next race and FTY is ready to monitor.
At Gates: this will check and turn green when horses have galloped off to the gates, which signals the preliminary finalisation of the FTY scores.
Change: this will highlight in red should any late changes need to be factored in to the assessment. This may change recommendations presented, and in extreme cases a suggested 'back' may become a 'lay', so be alert! Reasons for late changes need to be significant but include vet-checks prior to the race and significant behavioural issues late.

Pre-meeting: if desired, change the ranges and settings of the meeting template. Input any user information you would like to appear in the spreadsheet in to the 'User Data' tab. Individual columns can also be hidden by right-clicking the lettered heading of the column, and selecting 'Hide column'.
Recording results: All of the results recorded are using the default settings as they appear in the template, with the Betfair price quoted that which is recorded 5 minutes prior to the jump (as reported on Betwatch).
Before the race: it is recommended the user enters the current exchange odds up to 5 minutes prior to the jump in the BF column. This will ensure the data is tailored to your specific settings, and will provide you with immediate staking recommendations. If left blank, the BF will be updated closer to the jump.
The live FTY meeting sheet starts to filter information from the stables and continues to update as the horses warm-up in the pre-parade ring and the mounting yard.
Once the horses gallop off to the gates, the finalised information is blended with the latest prices on the exchange. The in-built default suggestions are independent of any form analysis or subjective input. They are derived from using the mounting yard scores and the Betfair price input 3-5 minutes prior to the jump. That's it. They can also be customised to suit your own bank and Kelly criterion inputs. The analysis continues up until the jump, with late significant behavioural issues or vet-checks noted and factored.
Analysis limits: The analysis is limited to 10 customers per meeting to optimise market integrity and opportunity to have betting orders matched. Meetings can be purchased in advance to avoid disappointment. It should go without saying, but please refrain from sharing any of our content that you have purchased. Not only is it in breach of our T&Cs, but it will only allow others to dilute your edge you have paid for!
-
Specific factors: certain attributes in the parade are undervalued by the market, and FTY is committed to monitoring how these change with time. Results are available in our Members Area, and weekly results of interest will be sent to customers as part of our Post Meeting Report.
LS score: quite simply, has a horse improved or worsened since the last recorded parade? While this may be overly simplistic, with multiple reasons for either improvement or an inferior parade, it can be a useful guide to a horse nearing a peak performance early in their preparation.
Blending your rated price with the mounting yard: there's a number of ways that this can be achieved, from copying the total yard score in to your own spreadsheet or database, or alternatively you can input your own rated price in to your FTY template in the BF column. You can change the blend percentages in the settings.
